Vintage J&G Meakin Sterling Colonial White Ironstone Coffee Pot

A classic piece of English ironstone with a beautifully simple silhouette, this vintage J&G Meakin Sterling Colonial coffee pot was made in England and dates to approximately the 1960s–1970s.

Unlike the lower, rounded shape of a traditional teapot, this piece has the tall, elegant proportions of a classic coffee server. Its elongated spout, graceful curved handle, fitted lid, and subtle raised detailing give the otherwise simple white ironstone just enough character.

We love pieces like this because they work just as beautifully outside of their original purpose. Display it on open kitchen shelving, group it with a collection of antique and vintage white ironstone, or use it as a vessel for fresh-cut flowers and branches.
